A ABA PROTEGE NOSSAS CRIANÇAS

No último dia 18 de maio as crianças da ABA saíram em destaque na Caminhada em Defesa contra Abusos e Exploração Sexual de Crianças e Adolescentes. Toda a equipe da ABA trabalhou duro e investiu recursos para chamar a atenção da população sobre essa triste realidade.

Somos uma ONG que defende nossas crianças e adolescentes contra o abuso e exploração sexual.

Infelizmente nossas crianças sofrem todos os dias essa barbárie, perversão e crueldade, e em grande maioria praticados por pessoas próximas e conhecidas que deveriam protegê-las. Não é raro um caso em que uma criança é abusada por um pai, padrasto, irmão, avô, tio, primo, padrinho, vizinho de confiança; por um padre, pastor, professor, instrutor. É muito triste!!!

Quando a vítima não é assassinada, ficam a dor, vergonha, medo, sofrimento físico, mental e intelectual causados pelo abuso, deixando muitas vezes sequelas irreversíveis, podendo causar até mesmo o suicídio da vítima.

Segundo algumas estatísticas, uma criança é abusada no Brasil a cada quinze segundos. É fato que nossas crianças estão sendo abusadas diariamente, e não podemos dá trégua. Entendemos que a prevenção, a orientação e informações corretas, dentro de uma linguagem que a criança entenda, deve sim fazer parte do plano de aula de qualquer instituição que se compromete em acolher nossas crianças.

Por entender a grande importância, a ABA mantém a temática da Proteção em sua grade curricular, atuando o ano todo, em todas as faixas etárias. A proteção é um tema que deveria se tornar corriqueiro e normatizado em todas as instituições de educação infantil. As crianças aprendem pela repetição e todo profissional da educação sabe disso.

Muitas crianças de dez, onze anos que ficaram grávidas em virtudes de abusos sexuais, poderiam ter evitado ou interrompido na primeira tentativa, se tivessem sido orientadas precocemente.

THE TAB PROTECTS OUR CHILDREN

On the 18th of May, the children of ABA were highlighted in the Walk in Defense against Abuse and Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents. The entire ABA team worked hard and invested resources to draw the population's attention to this sad reality.

We are an NGO that defends our children and adolescents against sexual abuse and exploitation.

Unfortunately, our children suffer this barbarism, perversion and cruelty every day, and in the vast majority practiced by people close and known who should protect them. It is not uncommon for a child to be abused by a father, stepfather, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, godfather, trusted neighbor; by a priest, pastor, teacher, instructor. Is very sad!!!

When the victim is not murdered, the pain, shame, fear, physical, mental and intellectual suffering caused by the abuse remain, often leaving irreversible sequelae, which can even lead to the victim's suicide.

According to some statistics, a child is abused in Brazil every fifteen seconds. It's a fact that our children are being abused daily, and we can't give a truce. We understand that prevention, guidance and correct information, within a language that the child understands, must be part of the lesson plan of any institution that is committed to welcoming our children.

Because it understands its great importance, ABA maintains the theme of Protection in its curriculum, working throughout the year, in all age groups. Protection is a topic that should become commonplace and standardized in all early childhood education institutions. Children learn through repetition and every education professional knows this.

Many ten- and eleven-year-olds who became pregnant as a result of sexual abuse could have avoided or stopped it on the first attempt, if they had been oriented early.
