1ª IGREJA BATISTA DOA MAIS UM TERRENO

 

1 João 3:17-18 “17 Quem, pois, tiver bens do mundo, e vir o seu irmão necessitado e lhe fechar o seu coração, como estará nele o amor de Deus? 18 Meus filhinhos, não amemos de palavra, nem de língua, mas por obras e em verdade.” 

No último domingo, 13/04/25 o pastor Marcos, em plena celebração do culto dominical no templo, chamou a família de irmãos, Ana Milena, Ana Beatriz e Neto e comovido pelo fato de ainda morarem em casa alugada e sem ter um terreno próprio para a construção, sentiu-se imensamente incomodado pela Palavra de Deus que sempre nos desafia a viver aquilo que pregamos e a pregar o que vivemos.

Não dar para ver os nossos irmãos sentirem dificuldade e viver inerte e insensível a essa situação. Depois de explicar a realidade em que a família vive, o pastor decidiu propor a doação de um terreno de propriedade da igreja, que fica localizado no bairro Santo Amaro, o que prontamente foi aceito e aprovada a doação por unanimidade por todos os irmãos presentes, decisão essa que não nos surpreende.

Acredito que a construção será fácil, haja vista que a família irá contar com o Ministério de Construção Solidária, um grupo criado pela igreja especialmente voltado para construção e reforma de imóveis dos irmãos. Ao todo esse ministério já atuou construindo e reformando dez residências de irmãos da Igreja.

Entendemos que a igreja não é banco para acumular recursos e que tudo que o Senhor tem abençoado a Igreja é para abençoar os irmãos.

Não estamos fazendo nada demais, apenas procurando viver na prática os ensinos do nosso Senhor e Salvador Jesus Cristo, a quem devemos toda honra, glória e louvor.

Deus seja para sempre louvado!

1ST BAPTIST CHURCH DONATES ANOTHER LAND

1 John 3:17-18 “17 But whoever has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need and has no love for him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”

Last Sunday, 04/13/25, Pastor Marcos, in the middle of the Sunday worship service at the temple, called the family of brothers, Ana Milena, Ana Beatriz and Neto and, moved by the fact that they still lived in a rented house and did not have their own land to build on, he felt immensely bothered by the Word of God that always challenges us to live what we preach and to preach what we live.

We cannot see our brothers and sisters experiencing difficulties and living inertly and insensitively to this situation. After explaining the reality in which the family lives, the pastor decided to propose the donation of a piece of land owned by the church, located in the Santo Amaro neighborhood, which was promptly accepted and the donation was unanimously approved by all the brothers present, a decision that does not surprise us.

I believe that the construction will be easy, given that the family will be able to count on the Ministry of Solidarity Construction, a group created by the church specifically focused on building and renovating the brothers' properties. In total, this ministry has already worked on building and renovating ten homes for brothers of the Church.

We understand that the church is not a bank to accumulate resources and that everything the Lord has blessed the Church with is to bless our brothers and sisters.

We are not doing anything too much, we are just trying to put into practice the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom we owe all honor, glory and praise.
