Estamos muito felizes por tamanha oportunidade! A COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL realizou um evento promocional numa Igreja Batista na Carolina do Norte-USA. Foram colocados nos bancos um cartão com as fotos e alguns dados das crianças de vários países e depois pediu-se para que os irmãos sentassem e abrissem os envelopes. A Jennifer Sander nos informou que quando ela abriu o envelope, viu a foto da Rayane, entendeu que foi Deus quem lhe deu a oportunidade de apadrinhar a criança e não hesitou. Ela apadrinha também uma criança de um Projeto em Fortaleza, onde aconteceram os encontros. Esse grupo de irmãos da mesma igreja, que também é padrinho de outras crianças em diversos países, se reuniu e simplesmente decidiu vir ao Brasil conhecer as crianças e a realidade em que vivem. A visita é um acontecimento excepcional, não ha como prever nem interferir. Simplesmente acontece e somos comunicados pelo escritório. Com mais de 3.000 crianças nos Projetos no Piauí, a Rayane foi a privilegiada. Incrível, todas as despesas, com passagens de avião, hospedagem em hotel, alimentação e transporte terrestre, foi toda custeada pelos padrinhos. Uma vez na vida, os americanos tiram as suas férias para fazer Missões e servir ao próximo. Nosso desejo é que todas as crianças tivessem a mesma experiência, mas não depende de nós, nem do Projeto e nem da COMPASSION, depende exclusivamente dos padrinhos. É um daqueles momentos que deixam marcam indeléveis nos corações de todos os envolvidos nessa experiência sem precedentes. DEUS SEJA LOUVADO!

CHILD MEETS MOTHER OF THE UNITED STATES

We are very happy for such an opportunity! COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL held a promotional event at a Baptist Church in North Carolina-USA. A card with photos and some children's data from various countries was placed on the benches and then the brothers were asked to sit down and open the envelopes. Jennifer Sander informed us that when she opened the envelope, she saw the photo of Rayane, understood that it was God who gave her the opportunity to patronize the child and did not hesitate. She also sponsors a child from a Project in Fortaleza, where the meetings took place. This group of brothers from the same church, who is also the godfather of other children in different countries, met and simply decided to come to Brazil to know the children and the reality in which they live. The visit is an exceptional event, there is no way to predict or interfere. It simply happens and we are communicated by the office. With more than 3,000 children in the Projects in Piauí, Rayane was the privileged one. Incredible, all expenses, with plane tickets, hotel accommodation, food and land transportation, were all funded by the godparents. Once in a lifetime, Americans take their vacations to do missions and serve others. Our desire is that all children have the same experience, but it does not depend on us, neither the Project nor the COMPASSION, it depends exclusively on the sponsors. It is one of those moments that leave indelible mark in the hearts of all involved in this unprecedented experience. GOD BE PRAISED!
